Project description

The company Millennium manufactured a white pigment based on titanium oxide used primarily in the production of paint, paper and PVC.

Challenge

The challenge was to deliver 15 GRP reactors (Ø 7m, 6m & 4m) with all equipment including mixer support and on-site installation within an extremely tight schedule for delivery and installation.

Solution

Using the engineering skills of the French unit and the production capacities of our French, Dutch and Polish factories allowed Plasticon Composites to deliver the entire project within a tight schedule and within the budget of the customer.

Results
The rapidity of this installation process as well as the knowledge of composites of our engineers were the main factors in the clients decision to trust Plasticon Composites for this turn-key project.

Both Vivendi (engineering) and Millennium Inorganic Chemicals (end customer) have been impressed by the quality of both our products and services.

Why composites?

  • Excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance
  • Easy and fast installation
  • Competitive prices compared with traditional materials

Easy modification/upgrade of the reactors in the time (without risk of fire)
